Are ALL BODIES ARE GOOD BODIES! LOVE YOUR BODY?

Introduction:

ALL BODIES ARE GOOD BODIES! Your body is a temple. It’s the vessel you live in. We all have them, and they’re all different – shapes, sizes, and abilities. They’re also the same – everyone needs food, water, and shelter. They take you everywhere you want to go.

Your body is a wonderful thing! Treat yours well and respect it in all its forms, no matter what color skin you have, or how heavy you are (or aren’t).  Whether or not your limbs work properly (or at all). It’s the only one of its kind in the whole world – make it count!

All bodies are good bodies, you might need some motivation to love your healthy self.

Here are some tips for taking care of yourself:

  • Get plenty of sleep & fresh air every day; get active regularly (your heart will thank you!)
  • Try new things that interest YOU; never settle for crumbs when there’s an entire buffet of options out there for you
  • Remember that you’re never stuck; you can change your life whenever you want to
  • Don’t compare yourself to anyone else (it’s like comparing apples and oranges!)
  • Take good care of your body with regular checkups, exercise, and healthy food choices
  • Further, Take time out for yourself & always be kind to yourself!

Take all the time you need, it’s your journey. There is no deadline, we’ve got all the time in the world. Remember: You are perfect just as you are!

All bodies are good bodies, own yourself!

If you don’t like your body, that’s okay because all of us have something to love about our form. Each person can see their body in a positive, affirming light. However, there can be some challenges to this when society spends so much time trying to tell people what is normal and how they should look.

Every day we are seeing images of perfection projected onto us through television, magazines, social media, and more. Therein lies the problem. Most often, these images we see depict very thin and traditionally attractive people. The only people who make it into the media with any regularity are those who fit a certain body type.

This isn’t to say that there aren’t people of all shapes and sizes who are beautiful, talented, intelligent, funny, and full of life. However, those “types” do not fit into the narrow boundaries society has created for what is deemed attractive.

They don’t see much representation in modern media. In a world where one’s worth is often judged by how aesthetically pleasing one is to others, this can be incredibly damaging.

However, it doesn’t have to be this way! We all have the capacity to love our bodies, no matter what shape or size we may be. It just requires a shift in perspective and constant effort toward self-care and acceptance.

All your bodies are good bodies, here are a few tips on how to do that:

Find inspiration from those around you!

Everyone everywhere has something that they love about their body. Perfectly normal things like the color of their eyes or hair, a favorite scar from childhood, or a particularly crooked tooth. We need to be surrounded by positive messages and people who appreciate the little things in life.

It can help remind us that self-love is possible, even if difficult sometimes and all bodies are good bodies. I know you’re out there! We’re all here rooting for you!

Don’t compare yourself to others!

This ties in with finding inspiration in others but is more of a call to action. Rather than looking at someone and thinking: “Gosh, I wish I looked like that,” think: “Wow! That person is really brave and beautiful.” By making the conscious decision to shift our perspective. We can change the way we see others and, in turn, ourselves.

Remember that you are enough.

No matter what shape or size your body is (yes, it’s okay to be plus-size! Yes, it’s okay to love yourself!) You are perfect just as you are. You don’t have to conform to society’s standards in order to be happy with how you look.

It would be completely unrealistic for every person on the planet to conform to that standard. By embracing your body, you are giving it what it needs to be healthy.

Practice self-care!

Taking care of ourselves is not selfish—it’s necessary for our overall happiness and well-being. Eating well, exercising, sleeping enough hours at night, and getting fresh air and sunlight all contribute to us feeling good about ourselves.

Take time for yourself every day!

Whether that means enjoying a cup of tea before bed or taking an hour-long bubble bath in the middle of the day, make sure you’re making time for yourself every single day. This will help us maintain perspective when we are bombarded with images telling us we’re not good enough and that we need to change to love ourselves.

Seek out body positivity imagery and media!

There is a whole world out there of blogs, Instagram accounts, and other social media outlets dedicated to the celebration of all different shapes and sizes. These places are full of encouraging words, beautiful imagery, and most importantly: people who see you for exactly how you are right now.

Go check them out! Be inspired by others who have come before you in your journey towards self-care and acceptance and promote a motto that all bodies are good bodies!

Don’t ever feel like you need to apologize!

You don’t need anyone else telling you who you should be and how your body needs to look. If they aren’t around 24/7 to control every single aspect of your life. If someone tells you that their opinion is fact and yours doesn’t matter, don’t let them any weight on this subject.

You’re the only one who knows what’s best for your body and you deserve nothing less than that.

Exercise because you love your body, not because you hate it!

If the idea of going to the gym makes you want to cry, don’t go. It’s perfectly okay to take a little break from exercise if it isn’t something you enjoy. But also make sure that when you do go back to exercising.

It is because you want to feel good, not punished or pressured into doing something that leaves you feeling ashamed or hurt. Self-care is all about loving yourself and enjoying life rather than punishing yourself for past mistakes.

Conclusion

Don’t ever feel like you need to apologize for what your body looks like! You don’t need anyone else telling you who you should be and how your body needs to look.

If someone tells you that their opinion is fact and yours doesn’t matter, don’t let them any weight on this subject. You’re the only one who knows what’s best for your body and deserves nothing less than that. Exercise because you love your body, not because you hate it! If the idea of going to the gym makes want to cry, then don’t go.
